    The Challenge

While there is a natural fit between the skills and experience gained in the military and the requirements of the supply chain logistics industry, veterans often encounter difficulties adapting to corporate culture and translating their expertise to a business setting and companies often struggle with how to best support veterans successfully transitioning to meaningful careers in the transportation and supply chain logistics industry.

The lab will focus on tackling this problem and generating solutions to the following questions:

  • What are the most significant challenges veterans face when transitioning from military service to transportation and supply chain logistics roles, and how can we effectively address these challenges to create a more supportive and understanding environment?
  • What specific resources can we implement to equip veterans with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully navigate the transition and excel in their supply chain careers?
  • How can organizations better train and prepare leaders on how to lead veterans and enable their success?
  • How can we foster a corporate culture that recognizes, values, and leverages the unique strengths and perspectives that veterans bring to the supply chain field?
  • What best practices can we learn from companies or organizations that have successfully integrated veterans into their supply chain workforce, and how can we adapt and scale these practices to support veterans across the industry?
  • How can we establish long-term support systems and career development opportunities to ensure that veterans continue to thrive and advance?
  • Meet the Experts
